Junior Graphic Designer

Overall Purpose

The Junior Graphic Designer will work closely with the Marketing department to come up with collaterals. He/She is expected to create engaging designs according to the requirements. He/She will work under the supervision of the Marketing department to produce high-quality work.

Responsibilities 

  • Conceptualise, propose and execute unique and effective design concepts, solutions and materials that visually engage audiences. Media may include prints, digital advertising (i.e. social media, website) and any ATL and BTL marketing materials.
  • Illustrate concepts by designing draft layout of art and copy with regards to arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  • Maintain visual consistency across all visuals that are produced for the brand.
  • Use various techniques to create drafts, models and prototypes.
  • Liaise with print vendors and external production resources to ensure optimal output of finalised materials.
  • Plan concept by studying information and materials.
  • Schedule project implementation, define budget constraints and meet deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work as a team with the Marketing department.

Requirements 

Proven graphic designing experience, ideally in e-commerce or tech.

  • Possession of creative flair and versatility, both conceptually and visually
  • Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
  • Up-to-date with industry-leading software and technologies (e.g. Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
  • Familiarity with design techniques (e.g. prototyping)
  • Highly proficient in all design aspects
  • Professionalism with regards to time and deadlines

Personal Profile

  • Comprehensive experience in production process of theatre or similar performance arts environments
  • Good sense of humour
  • Detail-oriented, creative and flexible
  • Able to work independently and as a team player
  • Able to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes
  • Able to work efficiently and productively under tight deadlines
  • Proficient in time management with the ability to organise and manage multiple priorities
  • Fresh graduates are welcome
