Senior Facilities Officer

Main Responsibilities

  • Attend to day-to-day operations and running of the building.
  • Assist Facilities Manager in scheduling, planning, organising and managing staff responsible for maintenance, repair and upkeep of buildings and facilities. Prioritise organisational needs, complaints and work orders. Coordinate with other departments to schedule time frame for completion and schedule work assignments.
  • Inspect building and other structures to determine functional systems, detect malfunctions and needed repairs, and make recommendations of rectification.
  • Assist Facilities Manager to conduct periodical reviews with team members to ensure timely follow-up of service requests, complaints and feedback.
  • Assist in managing contracts for maintenance services provided by external vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
  • Assist to develop policies and procedure manuals for building maintenance functions, grounds maintenance and custodial services.


  • Diploma/Higher Nitec in Facilities Management/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 to 5 years relevant experience in Building Management, Building Maintenance or Facilities Management for a commercial building.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Possess good communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Possession of a valid Fire Safety Manager Certificate will be an advantage.
