After School

After School revolves around a 16-year-old boy, Siao Han, who was abandoned when young. The movies follows Siao Han's transformation from a naïve shoplifter to eventual leader of a gang, as well as the unfolding tragedies of his friends - one of whom committed suicide after being raped by a gang, and another who had both his legs broken by a gang.

This movie was developed in partnership with the Singapore National Crime Prevention Council, and supported by the former Singapore Ministry of Community Development and Sports and the National Youth Council of Singapore.

After School was screened in two cinemas in Singapore in March 2004. It was also screened as an instructional film by over 150 secondary schools and tertiary institutes in Singapore.
